Delete Your Tori Account

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for Tori, the Japanese practice app published by Lehi Thomas (Investiture Labs).

Option 1 — In the app (instant)

1. Open Tori.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm through the two-step prompt.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. It removes your authentication record and all attached practice content from our servers via cascading deletes, and wipes the local copy on your device as part of the same action.

Option 2 — By email

If you can no longer access the app, email lehithomas25@gmail.com from the email address tied to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

• Your account record (email address and name from your Apple/Google sign-in).
• All practice content: islands, sentences, vocabulary, spaced-repetition cards, drill history, conversation sessions and messages, and daily stats.
• Your in-app preferences.

What we can’t delete

Purchase and billing records are held by Google Play / the App Store and our payment processor (RevenueCat) and are retained per their own policies — we do not control those systems. Manage subscriptions from your Google Play or App Store account.

Data retention notes

• Anonymous accounts (using Tori without signing in) are deleted automatically 30 days after the account last opened the app.
