Investiture Labs, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates Collector's Companion. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and your password, which is stored only as a one-way hash, and we give your account an account ID. This information is used to sign you in and sync your data across devices.
We store what you add to the app, associated with your account: the cards in your collection (card identifiers, sets, quantities, conditions, and notes you add), your decks, your wishlists, your cart, and a daily snapshot of your collection's total value, which powers the value chart.
The camera is used only when you scan a card. Camera images are processed on your device by Google ML Kit text recognition to read the card's name and collector line, and they are not uploaded. Only the text that identifies the card is sent: its name to Scryfall and to our database, and its set code, collector number, and language to Scryfall, to find the exact printing. Other printed details, such as the artist and copyright year, are compared on your device. Google ML Kit may collect diagnostic and usage data about its own performance.
We use Sentry to collect crash reports, error logs, and performance data (such as how long screens and network requests take) to identify and fix issues in the app. This data may include device type, operating system version, app version, and stack traces. It does not include your email address, password, or collection data.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs industry-standard encryption and security practices. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days.
Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
